Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my tracks while I was scrolling Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s picks:
My friend, Jess, who blogs at Bright Green Door posted this photo of the wallpaper they added to her daughter’s room recently. Isn’t is pretty? I’m especially excited about it because Jess and her husband are adopting one of Steevenson’s friends from the Angel House in Haiti, and they’re actually on their way to bring her home right now! 😀 (Here’s her post about the wallpaper if you’d like to read more about it: Modern Floral Wallpaper)
That rug!!! WOW! Color me smitten! (Lauren’s caption said it came from bashianrug.com.)
3. @HuntedInterior:
I think I love every single thing in that picture. The black window, the mixing of metals, the way they laid the backsplash tile, the concrete sink, the ceramic “peace” fingers, the wood with the white and the pops of green…it all speaks to me!
4.@RitaKonig:
Ahhhhhh! Makes me want to curl up and read a book!
5. @KenFulk:
Yes, this one is probably decorated for Christmas- but isn’t that the coziest-looking bunk room? What a stunner! 😀
PS- I’ve been tagging these round-ups on Instagram with the hashtag #InstaWednesdayRoundUp if you’d like to see them that way over there!
I agree about snuggling up and reading a book in photo number 4….right after I fix the two blinds on the right! My OCD self could not relax in the room like that…ha!
Love your round ups, Layla! The kitchen featured by Book of Decor is by Kristin Jackson of Hunted Interior. You should check her out, she’s fabulous!
I love those bunks…but is it just me, when I wonder how they change the sheets without knocking their heads, or killing their backs? Hahahahaha
Another great 5! Love the wallpaper, that rug, the herringbone tile, the cozy room and those bunks. Although, have you ever had to make up a top bunk bed? Now, after having them in our old house, I will NEVER have them again, I’m just too old for that! And mine were in the guest room, so I didn’t even have to do it very often.
Congrats and welcome home to your friend Jess! Another little one is blessed!
Need to tell you that on “Wednesdays Child” on the TV they had an Haitian boy who was adopted in the Us and given up. He is now about 10 or so. I don’t know if you know anyone who can take him or not, but I needed to tell you about him so if you know of a home, you can help him. Just letting you know. Lisa
