Farmhouse Mantel | In Progress

The whole thing is going Simply White (Benjamin Moore), and I’m going to use a small artist paintbrush to paint over the mint green paint on the corbels- careful to leave the chipped off parts the way they are ’cause I love the way they look. Be back next week with the final ‘after’ pics!

Happy ‘College Football Kick-off Weekend’, y’all!

How lovely! And the white will be beautiful! The corbels could be great in blue too…?

Oh, don’t paint those corbels! The color might be reading totally different on the screen, but in the pic they seem to really work with the reclaimed blue/green wood.

Yes!!!! Love it all! Woohoo for a sticky out fireplace. I’ve started to forget what it used to look like, it just feels so at home in that room now 🙂
