“Every plain wall deserves a piece of work, so why not cover it with a smile?”
-Shawn Lukas
I stumbled across a website the other day and even though I’m not in the market for wallpaper right now, I wanted to share the link here because some things are just too cool to not share, ya know? The web address is usa.nlxl.com and these are a few from Piet Hein Eek’s Scrapwood collection. This first one is my favorite:
I could definitely design a room around that!
These next two are so wild…both the front and side of this cube are covered in wallpaper!
Ekaterina Panikanova’s Bibliotheca collection is pretty incredible too:
Here is a close-up of the chandelier crystals and book pages:
This one would be so fun to study and re-study, too:
Ekaterina said, “I like working on books. I like the way the wear and tear, the underlining’s, notes and scribbles enable me to perceive the personalities of the people who have read them. Each book has a history, it is the story of its reader“.
I love that!

Arthur Slenk’s Remixed collection is also quite lovely:
And last but not least, get a load of a few of the designs in Merci’s Brooklyn Tins collection:
And while we’re on the subject of gorgeous wallpaper, have you seen Shannan’s pretty flowers?
Or Sherry’s gray grasscloth?
Or the black and white paper Marian used in her upstairs bathroom?
And look at that PRECIOUS green mirror…just waiting to be covered with a smile! 😀
How about you? Have you seen any fun wallpapers around the web lately? I’d love to have a look-see if you feel like leaving me a link-sy. 😉

Wow!
I love the ones with books, so much to look at. And all those textures with the timber and tiles! And finally the black and white trees are just devine. Yes please.
I thought my days of wanting wallpaper were over. Now, you’ve changed my mind! Love these!
I would have such a hard time choosing. I really like the wood, the books and the tin wallpaper. Loving these all so much. Definitely saving this post.
Wallpaper: Bunnies by Hunt Slonem.
Expensive.
Bought the Bunnies book, sight unseen, with the intention of cutting out the bunny artwork to frame.
The book is too beautiful to ruin.
Sigh!
Still dreaming!
Wow! Has wallpaper changed since I last looked in the 90s! I need to look some more and find a spot for some! I think my laundry room is getting a new look! Lol. Thanks for the great inspirations!
In the process of redoing my bathroom and this one is at the top of the list so far. It will be on the upper wall, with a chair rail and white bead board pattern on the bottom. http://www.wallpaperwarehouse.com/product-details/Oceanic/1419281088FNSIYMPK
I obsessed over a Hannah Nunn wallpaper called Sowing Seeds. I wanted to put it in our main bathroom. Alas, it’s too spendy, but I found a shower curtain at Target that was reminiscent of it. It’ll do until I’m rich. 🙂 I have some fun ones, including that one, on a Pinterest board. Here’s the link: https://www.pinterest.com/rindymae/wallpaper-tiles/
These are just beautiful! I’m working on a living/dining room area with a lot of windows and I want to give it a cottage look…I was planning on wood planks but maybe this is the answer? I wish you were here to help me decide what to do???!!! Love all your work and ideas!
Those wallpapers are pretty cool!! So unique and different and some would make it so easy to have plank walls without having to place each plank!
I LOVE that floral wallpaper..swoon

The one with the wooden cube really messed with my mind. Couldn’t stop looking at it. What a feature wall that would be.
I loved all the chippy looking tin paper. And I have always been and will always be a sucker for grasscloth.
Like someone said before, I thought I was done with wallpaper. Truth is, I’d been thinking about it a lot lately. Now that I see designers using it again, I am ready to admit it. I want to use some wallpaper in my renovations we are doing. My husband’s going to be so happy to hear that!
I was just telling Cory last week that I’m ready to wallpaper another nook. Rather, I’m ready for HIM to wallpaper another nook. 😉
XO, El!!! Miss you so much.
First of all I am so in love with those wallpapers….dayum….need me some:) Second imagine my surprise to see my sisters ORC room on here…..I have arrived! When that paper was installed it was a game changer for that room!
Thank you for sharing! I love the ones that look like the old planks!
