Fall Gallery Wall Decorating

Nov 16, 2018 By Layla

It’s finally starting to look and feel like Fall here in central Alabama, so I thought I’d share how I switched a few pieces of our gallery wall grouping to reflect the current season. I added a straw hat, a photo of , a , a (paper) painting of a barn and my “” signs.

The straw hat is hanging on the same wooden dowel we usually hang a wreath or a propeller on:

I sprinkled some candles, antlers, mini pumpkins, and a few of my great-great grandfather’s school books in the metal shelf at the bottom of the grouping and I just love the way it all looks!

And don’t worry- my favorite (vintage) painting is still up there and safe underneath the barn painting.

My friend Josh just printed that picture on a heavy, watercolor-type paper for me and I stuck it on top of the seascape with some mounting putty for the time being.

The striped and plaid pillows came from HomeGoods and the Pumpkin Patch pillow is from Kirkland’s.

My favorite part is the straw hat and the path picture:

The texture and tone of the hat reminds me of the big, rolled bales of hay we see when driving into our neighborhood and the path reminds us to get outside and explore now that it’s not 100 degrees! 😀

Happy weekend, friends!

Have to ask, where did you get the two signs, “I belong with you” “You belong with me”? Also, how in the world does the dow hold up the fan? lol
    Thanks

The propeller is super lightweight (it’s from Hobby Lobby!) and I linked to those signs in the first paragraph of this post. Hope that helps! XO

This is unrelated to this post… but I keep thinking about that fun accent wall you started in your master bedroom. Did you ever finish it??! I hope you post about that again soon! 🙂

Love your arrangement! Where is your wall lamp from? Thanks!

I enjoy your blog very much, but it seems that Macy’s has taken over your “My Latest Videos” space. Every time I try to watch a video, the handsome guy from Macy’s takes over… again and again. I’m sure it’s only a glitch. Just thought you’d want to know. Your videos are great. They’re funny, charming and informative as are you.

I love your wall! Is that shelf thing still available somewhere?

Did you make the painting of the barn? Wondering because you didn’t link it and I have been curious where you got that one from. Thanks!!

I, too, would love to know where you got the shelf thing. My husband and I are in the process of redecorating our master bedroom and I have the perfect spot for a gallery wall. Love all the layers your gallery walls have and this shelf would be a perfect addition to showcase some of our treasures that are special to just the 2 of us.

Oh that dog! He gets me every time I look at this post. I was coming back to see if anyone asked about the pictures, particularly the dog. Is that a photo print? Or a painting? It is beautiful! I am also enjoying the whiteness and brightness of the wall you have on display. I love how it matches the look of your blog too. Lol.
