My Everyday Makeup Routine (Over 40)

Happy Monday, y’all!

I get a lot of requests to share my everyday makeup routine, so I finally took the time to record it and share it in my Insta-stories. I had a bunch of requests to share the info over here too, so here it is if one of them was from you! 🙂

And here are links to all the products I used in the video…and a couple other favorites I use from time to time too:

Anywhoobs- I’m clearly not a professional in this area and these are just the things I’ve enjoyed using lately. I am excited to try some Beauty Counter products in the next couple of weeks though too. I’ve heard really good things about the company and I love that they’re committed to a health and safety standard that goes above and beyond that goes well beyond what’s required by U.S. law.

I’ll keep you posted on my experience with them, and if you’ve already used them, I’d love to hear what you think of them too!

    you look gorg without the makeup, but your application is perfect, not overdone, just beautiful! I don’t see the link to the pore refiner and couldn’t see the name in your video, can you let me know what brand that is? Thanks!

    Thanks for all the recommendations! I’ve used a few of the products you’ve mentioned before and really liked them. Excited to try some of these too! I’m 34 and feel like I’m just now figuring out make up, lol!
    I have been using Beauty Counter’s tint skin for almost two years and I love it! It goes on great with the retractable brush. Unfortunately all the bristles fell out of my brush a year later. Its happened to several people I know, so I’ve started applying it with another brush I bought.

    Layla, huge fan for yearssss! I’ve recently been hooked onto instastories,and I love love when you post. First,I say to myself each time, “dang is she naturally beautiful”, then it’s, “if I could have adopt another sister it would be you”, and then “why in the world did HGTV not sign them, she is one entertaining, talented wonder?” Tv needs your kind of joy…..one day they will find you!
