Bathroom Inspiration

Jan 12, 2009 By Layla

How cool is this Bathroom?

If you’ve got a new home, but want to achieve an “old home” look, this photo may serve as inspiration on how to get that look in your Bathroom.

I am absolutely in love with the sliding barn-style door that leads from the bedroom into this bathroom. I will most definitely be replicating this idea on the opening to our Guest Bathroom.

The planked walls give it TONS of cottage appeal, and this too would be easy to replicate by using inexpensive beadboard panelling.

I’m also really drawn to all the open shelving and the symmetrical way they have displayed all of the items on them. The vintage camera collection is gorgeous, but could easily be switched out with a multitude of other collectibles.

Large seashells:

Wicker Baskets:

Rusty Dutch Tulip Baskets:

Galvanized Locker Baskets:

Old metal and glass Seltzer Bottles:

Vintage Kitchen Scales:

Antique Crocks:

The list goes on and on.

And now, so does my “to do” list. 🙂
