5 Instagram Photos That Stopped Me In My Scroll

Mar 6, 2019 By Layla

Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my scroll while I was perusing Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s picks!

1. @SouthernRhoda:

Rhoda’s is one of the very first blogs I ever stumbled onto and I still enjoy following along with here today. I loved seeing her recent (under $500) laundry room makeover pop up. Here’s a link to our blog post about it if you’d like to read all about it too: Southern Hospitality

2. @Passie_Voor_Wonen–

Emmelien features home and garden inspiration from the Netherlands and there is so much feeling and inspiration in every picture she posts!

3. @RusticWildArrow:

Holly’s locker room makes me smile! Look at all that vintage goodness! Here’s a link to her Amazon shop: Rustic Wild Arrow on Amazon

4. @AWalkInTheWild:

If you love looking at exteriors and eye-catching architecture, you will love following along with Miranda’s feed. She found this little house in Cleveland Park, DC that recently went on the market for the first time since it was originally built back in 1929.

The listing read, “4 bed/3 bath….1,723 square feet. This most charming Sears Catalogue Barrington Model cottage was renovated this year. The new kitchen is among the many modern amenities, while the owner has also taken care to preserve original features such as the fieldstone mantel, ceiling beams and sconces. A sizable rear terrace, accessed from the dining room, expands entertaining space and gives way to the sylvan landscape beyond. An enclosed porch, as well as an office on the second level, adds to the spacious interiors. There is also a fully finished attic and lower level. Convenient to Cleveland Park’s vibrant restaurants, shopping, parks, and metro, this property is a neighborhood treasure and a rare offering indeed“.

It sold for $1,321,000.

5. @Urban.Farmgirl:

Word on the web is that Joanna Gaines is helping Jennifer Lopez fix up her Malibu beach house! Here’s an article about how it all came together: Joanna and Jennifer

Hope you’re having a great week, y’all!
