“You never know what’s around the corner. You just keep putting one foot in front of the other, and then one day you look back and you’ve climbed a mountain.”
―Tom Hiddleston
This adoption adventure has been very mysterious. Never knowing what’s around the corner…always Trusting that we should just keep moving our feet.
But this Saturday, we’re going to look back from the top of this mountain…
…and we’ll be up there looking with our son.
Less than 48 hours from now, y’all!!!
This is a two-week socialization visit, and although we won’t be able to bring him home at the end of this trip, we are SO excited to be able to spend this time bonding with him. Our hearts are overflowing with excitement and gratitude, and our minds are absolutely racing.
Prayers appreciated for our baby’s precious little heart. I can’t wait to tell you all about him when I have downtime during nap time!
PS- I plan to blog a few times a week while we’re there, and I created the hashtag #SweetPmakes3 on Instagram if you’d like to follow along between blog posts! XO

SO happy for you guys! I was listening to Sweet P’s nannies sing on Instagram. You should make recordings for him to remember and go to sleep with, once he comes home! SO SWEET!

You don’t know me. I attend Centerpoint and have been following your adoption adventures. Tears of joy well up in my eyes as I read your words, feelings, emotions, fears, and love for that little boy. God has blessed you and your family with the greatest gift. Ever since I was young I remember always wanting to adopt, with or without “bio” children. Reading your thoughts makes it more known in my heart that this is something that God has put on my heart to do. May God bless y’all’s lives more than ever before. You will be such a blessing to Sweet P as he grows in your arms and love!
