We’ve got a really cool pillow giveaway to blog about today!

Laurie, the owner of Bella Inspirations is an absolute peach-of-a-gal, and we are thrilled to have her as one of our sidebar sponsors. She opened her Etsy shop in 2008 (thanks to some encouragement from our mutual friend Jennifer at The Old Painted Cottage!), and started by offering her signature French-inspired burlap table runners…

As time went on, she began offering various other handmade pieces, and beautiful vintage and antique items as well. Here’s a photo of the awesome Medic Lumbar Pillow Laurie’s graciously giving away to one lucky Lettered Cottage reader this week…

Laurie’s Etsy listing description for it reads, “Make an expressive statement with this vintage lumbar medic pillow. I hand make each with washed 100% linen, loomed from Belgain flax, the worlds finest! The medic cross is available in two lovely colors, neutral medic cross or wonderful dark charcoal (as shown). Approximately 24″x 16″. Spot clean only. Includes a quality feather down insert“.

     What a nifty looking pillow! It would look amazing in a nook off our master bedroom. We have attempted to “re-create” your reading room from blog. The daybed turned out beautifully…the wall with wood planking is still a work in progress! Thanks for the many ideas…what a great resource.

     This pillow would be very tongue-in-cheek decor for me, being as I almost died of an infection in March, have had ten surgeries in as many years, and am going to have another one in September( to fix me from the infection in March).Don’t you think it would be fun and ironic to recover ,lying in bed next to this really cute medic pillow?      Wow! This just changed my mind about table runners! I wasn’t a huge fan of them before, but I LOVE the table runner at Bella Inspirations! And that pillow!!!      I think I NEED that pillow. I am a nurse (which is kind of a medic, right? ) and then I would have an excuse to slipcover my ugly brown loveseat in white!!!!

     What an awesome pillow. I love the textured look of the linen fabric. I’m really into decorating with different fabrics, love linen, canvas and burlap.

     I was looking for the perfect graduation gift for my sister-in-law who just graduated with her nursing degree. I had to come up with something else, but this would’ve been perfect! Oh well- guess I’d have to hang onto this one myself!

     What a beautiful pillow! I really love her Etsy shop! I think my very sparse, but lovely Bella chocolate sofa (yes Bella is the name of my sofa) would be the perfect place for the Medic Lumbar pillow.. Reminds me of keepsakes that I inherited from my father as he was a Navy Medic in World War II… He actually grew up in Montgomery, Alabama.. Very close to Prattville!
