“The most difficult time in your life may be the border to your promised land.”

Saw this on Instagram a week or so ago and I’ve been wanting to share it here ever since.
“When we’re adapting, we just somewhat adjust, but we don’t settle in. Because it’s only an abbreviated span of time. Remember that. This season has only come on only an abbreviated span of time. So don’t settle in. It’s on its way out. Learn what you need to learn from it. All of us…let’s learn what we need to learn from it.” – Anthony Martin
Hold on, friends in challenging seasons. Hold on. XO

Love this quote and the thought! And I love the artist – I strongly believe in giving credit where it is due. The original art is by @andrearhowey, I love following her!

I agree completely.

A beautiful thought. My mind went more to those who are contemplating suicide, I guess because of recent news both nationally and locally, and that (I think) it’s national Mental Health month. So many feel that they must end their lives because of what they are currently going through. But if they could just hang on, get past that border, maybe things will be better. Hope I haven’t been a Debbie downer, but that’s what was on my mind as I read this.

It was on my mind as I read it too, Marianne. (I know someone personally who is having a hard time hanging on right now.) Praying he makes it to the border, and that he finds the renewed sense of hope that’s waiting for him there.
