Hi, friend!
I don’t usually blog on Tuesdays, but I’ve been thinking that it would be the perfect day to start sharing posts about home, lifestyle and beauty products. Posts chock full of info about all the things I’m totally lovin’! A few of them might be sponsored (with honest reviews), or contain affiliate links, but most of them will likely just be information about the things I’m learning about and loving. That said I look forward to sharing my good AND bad experiences here as I continue to learn about what works (or doesn’t!) for us.
I thought I’d start by sharing a post about a room spray I’m loving. It’s Mrs. Meyers lavender room spray.
You may already know about it, but if not, you must try it! It’s available at Target, Walmart and other stores like those, but we were just introduced to it by Grove Collaborative, who included it in one of their monthly shipments. It is, hands down, the best smelling spray we’ve ever used in our home and all three of us absolutely love it! It smells like lavender, but it also has orange peel in it and the combo is deeeeelish!
And speaking of Grove Collaborative, they’ve got a fun special going this month in case you’ve been thinking about signing up. If you’ve never heard of Grove Collaborative, they’re a scheduled delivery service that sends eco friendly and non-toxic products straight to your front door. You choose the products and the schedule, and they show up and rock your house. 🙂
We’ve really enjoyed receiving several of their boxes and some of my other favorite products are the walnut sponges, which by the way, existing customers can receive a free set of by clicking through the that link any of the Grove Collaborative links in this post.
If you’re interested in becoming a new member, you can sign up here to give them a whirl: Grove Collaborative Sign-up. You’ll receive this 4-piece kit (scrub brush, dish soap, hand soap, hand lotion) for free when you sign up and place a $20 minimum order:
They’ll always send you an email you seven days before your next order is set to ship so you can edit your shipment or reschedule it to a different date that suits you better.
Anywhoobs, I mainly just wanted to share about that room spray since it is definitely on my list of favorite home-related finds this year. And I’m all ears if you know and love any other room fresheners. We’re always on the lookout for another good-smelling spritz!

I LOVE Grove!! We use their stuff for all our cleaning. I’ve recently done the shower gel & body lotion & I don’t miss the Bath & Body Works AT ALL!! Another fav is the Molly’s Sud’s All Sport Wash laundry detergent. If you have any athletes (or just smelly teen boys) this helps get rid of those lingering smells that never seem to go away!!

I have used Mrs. Meyers and like it … until – their lilac came into my life! I’m in love with this fragrance! It has triggered a childhood memory that I can’t explain. I have the dish soap, cleaner and hand soap! Even my husband likes it. It’s light and doesn’t overpower my small kitchen!
Layla
AAAAHHHH! I didn’t know they had LILAC!!!!
Fun fact: my nickname was Layla Lilac when I was little. I have so many fond memories that are tied to that scent too! Thank you for telling me about it!
Lisa
I know you mentioned you are trying to limit the chemicals in your makeup, so I would look closer at Mrs. Meyers. They do contain toxic chemicals. Which makes me so sad, because the lilac is to die for! You can look up any product on EWG.org to see how they score in relation to chemicals, allergens, etc.

Hi Lisa!
I know about EWG and am trying to limit chemicals, but I gotta have that lavender spray and I *must* find the lilac now!! 😀

Lilac….you have to try it. Unfortunately it was a limited fragrance and I don’t see it anymore.

Thanks for the info! I just signed up with Grove Co!

You’re going to love it! 😀

Good morning, Layla love your blog. Wish we we’re neighbors. I’ve used Mrs. Myers products for a while. I also love the Basil scent especially for the kitchen. I’ve also used the dryer sheets but they’re not always in stock. I am going to try the lavender. Have a great summer with Steevenson. Wish y’all lived in florence. He could hang out with is at the children’s museum I think he would love it!
