Before we move on to blogging about the grodiness that is currently our master bathroom- I wanted to share a quick ShootFlyShoot.com announcement.
Kev and his BFF, Josh, have received a ton of great feedback on their first two classes (Photography 101 and Photoshop Elements 10), and they’re super excited to finally offer an affiliate program for those who are interested in partnering up!
All you have to do is add the Shoot Fly Shoot button or badge of your choice to your blog (or website), and in return, the guys will send you 30% of all sales that are generated from it, each and every month. The program is open to anyone who wants to partner up. The only requirement is that you have to have an active Paypal account to participate. (That’s where Kev will send your payments each month.) Click HERE or on the banner below to head over to their site for more info, and if you have any questions about anything, just leave me a comment on this post. (I’ll ask the teacher for you- ha!)
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and a super-huge thanks in advance to anyone who decides to partner up with two of my favorite peeps on the planet!
Be back soon with an update about the grodiness, I mean, master bathroom…
If you saw a close up of the grout and tub you probably wouldn’t read our blog anymore.
PS- New to Shoot Fly Shoot? Here’s a fun little video Kev and Josh put together about their site!

Your bathroom looks designer compared to ours!…ick…constanly moldy looking shower despite heavy scrubbing, peeled off laminate on the vanity, builder grade salon style lighting, broken towel bar…the list could go on!!! lol. It is in dire need of a complete overhaul. Can’t wait to see what you do because I’m sure it will be inspiring!

Oh goody! Another room redo in the works I hope! One question….which one of you gets to squeeze between the commode and the counter to use the sink? That looks to be almost impossible!
Colleen
Yay. I am hoping you figure out the best way to remove chaulk around the tub because that is my next project.

Hi 🙂 I am trying to sign up for the affiliate program, & I’ve tried 3 times & it says “please enter a valid email address” to both my paypal email address & the one I chose for my login one. Is this only a problem for me? Thanks so much for your time!

Hey Liz,
Kev wonders if you’re on a “work computer”? And if so, maybe it’s a firewall issue? He hasn’t had any other issues with any other affiliates email addresses, so let us know if that does the trick, and if not, we’ll research other possible solutions!

Ha! (the grout comment) You haven’t seen OUR rental…

I am so doing this Layla…I am taking the class now! I bought it a couple of weeks ago and it is SO up my ally. I am a dummy when it comes to the camera and my daughter is so good at it. She suggested it for me:) Happy she did. The guys are easy to understand and the repitition is good!!
they are so sweet.
I will have my daughter add the button in a day or so and I am even going to do a little post about it:)
happy monday

Allison @ The Golden Sycamore
I signed up last night to be an affiliate when I saw their post on facebook! I just started my blog, so I’m not sure how big of a help I’ll be, but I think you guys are great and thought it would be a fun way to get started with advertisers/sponsors. I really hope the guys offer an interiors class soon because I’d really like to learn more about that. Most of the pictures I take are of my finished painted furniture pieces and home remodel updates.
Take care!

Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane… Nope. It’s a boob on your ceiling! I’m so glad you have one ugly light fixture. It makes the rest of us feel better! (You more than compensate for it with that fab light in Kevin’s new room!)

Ha! 😀 #SheSaidBoobLight

Yay, I’m so excited about the affiliate program- I already have the button on my blog (and I’m proud of myself for knowing how to add it)! Someday when I get a “real” camera, I’ll be taking those classes. 🙂 As for the bathroom, it’s funny how those boob lights were an upgrade several years ago- once upon a time, I remember being excited to get those. Now everyone wants a house mastectomy.

Our master bathroom (especially the shower) is the yuckiest place in our house, too, and I would be totally embarrassed to show anyone! Why is that? I mean, we are supposed to get CLEAN in there! We expect showers in hotels and others’ homes to be immaculate…you have inspired me to get on that job today! I am going to check out Kevin’s (also my hubby’s name!) class. I am certainly getting better since I started my blog, but have much to learn.
Anneke
The funny thing is I saw your affiliate badge on another blog and thought, “When did they start an affiliate program?” 🙂 Yay! I’m excited to take the course and be an affiliate! Thanks for putting this out there for so many who need that visual help! 🙂

Hey there, It’s Karen from thecottagefarmhouse.com. I’m happy to be an affiliate, also I’m renovating my family room and I’d like to know the color of the doors you painted in you guest room /office reno. What’s you opinion on a leather sofa in a cottage farmhouse style home.
I’d love to get your professional opinion.
Hope to hear from you soon
