Happy Monday, y’all!
Can you believe it’s almost the second week of November already? :-O Unreal how fast time flies these days!

We’re having the house painted this week (aaahhh!) so, of course, I’m already thinking about how I’m going to decorate our front porch for the holidays. That picture above is so pretty!
I came across it while I was online looking for inspiration this weekend. I also found some really pretty Christmas decor while I was surfing around online, and thought I’d share a round-up of some of my favorite finds. There are links below each picture if you’d like more info about any of them. Some of them were on sale at the time I put this post together, but they may not be by the time this posts.

Time just flies by!
I’m loving all the Christmas decor posts, because I want to make a few decorating changes this year.

I like all of them! But that first porch tree – might just have to recreate that look on my porch! Also the knit tree shirt – I believe my daughter would love one of those from Santa!

I’m smitten with the galvanized tree collar. I just bought a new tree last week, and I’m itching to put it up, but trying to wait until after Thanksgiving. That should give me time to find a good deal on the collar. I’m also wondering how our new puppy will react to the tree – will she sniff then ignore? Or will she try to destroy it, like she does all of her toys?

Wow, how do I choose just one from each category when I love them all?! Except those stump stocking holders… those are “stumping” me on how they wouldn’t fall off – Hmmm. Thanks for posting!

Oh, Layla! I’ve had two rustic trees on each side of our front door for several years. But… now I think I’ll grab some burlap to cover the pots and add some rustic touches like pine cones and burlap ribbon to the trees, too. I don’t know why it never occurred to me before! I’ve always placed an old sled behind one of them and this idea will only cozy up that rustic lodge look I love so much. Thanks!

Yeah, those tree collars rock! Of all the groovies, I liked the plaid (flannel?) garland. Who couldn’t make on of those? So pretty! Plaid = Christmas, to me!

When you search for “inspiration” what type of key words do you use?
Layla
Hi! The titles of each section (tree collar, tree skirt, etc) and the words farmhouse, country, etc. I also type in words like “galvanized” or “chunky knit” sometimes too! 🙂
Pam
Thank you, Layla!

Oh the tree collar!! Great idea….I’ve always been trying to find the right size basket but this is genius!! And I ADORE the knit tree skirt as well, and the knit rope. I will have to have my friend makes these for me;-) Thanks for the inspiration Layla!

The porch tree is awesome. And I love the Crate & Barrel wicker tree collar. Thanks for the link!

I love that toy sack that says “I’ve outgrown these, please pass them on” – how awesome! Great way to encourage kids not to hoard and to think of others.
I’m excited for you to start posting Christmas inspiration!!!! Somehow because we’ve got our base layer of snow, I’m totally thinking of holiday décor. its so fun at the beginning of winter when you’ve just got the snow…then I’m like Lorelai Gilmore; I’m in love with snow. 🙂 I love it, I see the romance, I crave creating cozy in my home, I adore the beauty of Mother Nature. sigh.
BUT I do remember it is only the beginning on November. I don’t decorate till the beginning of December.
If I had somewhere to post, I’d decorate with poppies and thank yous and try to start a respectful epidemic of gratitude to our veterans.
Hugs from snowy Manitoba (Canada)…our winter wonderland.
