It’s finally starting to look and feel like Fall here in central Alabama, so I thought I’d share how I switched a few pieces of our gallery wall grouping to reflect the current season. I added a straw hat, a photo of a happy dog with orange fur, a picture of a path, a (paper) painting of a barn and my “I Belong With You, You Belong With Me” signs.
The straw hat is hanging on the same wooden dowel we usually hang a wreath or a propeller on:
I sprinkled some candles, antlers, mini pumpkins, and a few of my great-great grandfather’s school books in the metal shelf at the bottom of the grouping and I just love the way it all looks!
And don’t worry- my favorite (vintage) painting is still up there and safe underneath the barn painting.
My friend Josh just printed that picture on a heavy, watercolor-type paper for me and I stuck it on top of the seascape with some mounting putty for the time being.
The striped and plaid pillows came from HomeGoods and the Pumpkin Patch pillow is from Kirkland’s.
My favorite part is the straw hat and the path picture:
The texture and tone of the hat reminds me of the big, rolled bales of hay we see when driving into our neighborhood and the path reminds us to get outside and explore now that it’s not 100 degrees! 😀
Happy weekend, friends!
