Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my tracks while I was scrolling Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s picks:
Reeeeally loving the look of that checkered floor with those blue cabinets & white countertops!
2. @OldSaltFarm:
Check out the awesome hardware above those pretty sliding doors! Kierste’s Instagram caption read: “I think one of my very favorite things in my house is the pantry area. The one on the right holds food, and the one on the left is for all of my serving ware–cake stands, beverage dispensers, etc.–, props for food photography, baking supplies and entertaining items like paper straws, jars, milk bottles, mason jars, etc. I love having it right at my fingertips, and I’ve never had a space dedicated just to all of those items- I use it all the time!“.
Is that a gorgeous staircase, or what? Felesha mentioned that she got the vintage grain sack material from an eBay seller named Loody Lady, and just tacked them into place about three years ago. Awesome idea!
…and don’t even get me started on the white cast iron (Jotul) stove she got on Craigslist. Swoon!

Such pretty colors, and such a sweet sentiment! Reminds me of a couple of guys I know. 😉
PS- I’ve been tagging these round-ups on Instagram with the hashtag #InstaWednesdayRoundUp if you’d like to see them that way over there!
*Edited to add- I had this sent to auto-publish last night at midnight and I *just now* realized it’s only Tuesday- ha! 😀

Wow, all such beautiful finds – that staircase is amazing! And I am so honored to have my sign in your list of 5 scroll-stoppers, thanks to the beautiful home & styling of Tanya. Thank you SO much.

Hello! This is my first comment for your blog. I’ve been following it for several years and have appreciated your designs and have been inspired. With that said, I’m SO HAPPY you found that beautiful stairway. I’m working on a 100+ year old home and have a similar stairway. The only difference is that it’s enclosed under the stairs for a closet. I’ve been scrolling and scrolling and haven’t found what I needed for inspiration. This is perfect! Congrats on your newest member BTW!

hey! I think you might have mentioned the same instagram account twice… I hate to think we missed out on one of your five picks!!! Thanks for your great fun posts!
Layla
Yes! I had to post *both* of those pretty @SwanRiver_Farmhouse pics, so she got slot #3 and 4 this week! 😀
Linda
Layla,
Are the stairs finished in your in-laws barn house? I am just wondering if I have missed the pictures. I saw the ladder and you said the builder would make changes. I take he isn’t through yet! Love your blog and pictures or video’s.
Layla
No, not yet. They’re actually working on a few other projects first. 🙂

Here Downunder, I got it on Wednesday!? Lovely surprise. I do love receiving the five inspirational photos every week.
Marianne in Mo.
Love! Funny, I spotted a white cast iron stove not long ago and showed it to my daughter. I’ll have to go see where Swan River Farmhouse got it. If I remember, the one I saw was at a Habitat for Humanity Restore.

Just went on eBay and tried to find a seller named Loody Lady and got no results.
Are you sure about this seller’s name? You mentioned this in your number 3 pick—regarding the grain sack covered stair treads. Thanks…..
Layla
Hi Lindy!
Yep- that’s her name. You can actually just click right through her name up there in the post and it’ll take you straight to her ebay shop. 😉
Lindy
Oh, my goodness! That works! Thanks for helping me with this…..Yea!!!
