Happy Tuesday, guys!
Today, I’m sharing links to four blog posts that blew my mind for one reason or another. The first is a post by Jenna at Rain On A Tin Roof who blogged about a fantastic faux soapstone countertop she applied to cover up an old laminate one:

Stephanie at Studio 36 really wow-ed me with her GENIUS use of empty space. I love making my house really work for me, and I’m such a big fan of making the most of every square inch!
Here’s a link to her step-by-step tutorial: DIY Built-In Bookcase

Christina from Christina’s Adventures did a really cool brick veneer wall in her bathroom. I’ve always wanted to add brick to a wall, so it was fun to read her post:

Anissa from House Seven made me want to put plywood on my bedroom floor:
Can you believe they did the whole room for around $200! Incredible! Here’s a link to her post: DIY Planked Plywood Floors
Have you worked on any great DIY projects lately? 😀 Tell us about them if you have!

These are really awesome! I especially loved the brick and the plywood floor! We are in the process of finishing off our basement – family room, full bath and two bedrooms. We used car siding for two walls and a barn door in the family room, built a vanity (farmhouse style) and are now at the drywall stage. Can’t wait to finish and take pics! Most of the work has been done by my husband and son in law.

Wow, I had to follow the link and check out the “ stone” counter, who would have guessed the wood under a laminate would become the surface to look like soapstone!
Most recent DIY was for My daughter who has triplets and were to start preschool, to help with morning routine they wanted a bench with bins under it and a shelf for baskets with hooks for book bags and coats. Thanks to the guys at Home Depot that will cut wood to your specs, it went easier than we expected. But has proven to be most functional! We made it for room for all 5 of them and boy does it make getting ready for the bus ( on time 🤪) easy!

Layla could you tell me please what the 5th idea was and why I missed the link to the backsplash wall covering. I love ALL THE IDEAS BUT the blackspash is one I really need right now and could do.

Oh, yes! That was from Crazy Craft Lady. She wasn’t thrilled with the surprise feature, so I removed her shout-out from the post. 😉
